Summary

This chapter covered what people in the field feel are the important bases of knowledge, skills, and personal qualities (including personality) that a leader brings to a team. No person can possess all that talent. The key to using this chapter is to identify your strengths and extend them to help your team members help themselves . You can also use this chapter to recognize the talents of your teammates. Instead of trying to be all things to all people, partner with others and maximize the use of the collective talents available. Leadership in a team environment is a collaborative, participative process.
