Creating Address Books

All of the addresses that you create initially will be contained in the default address book. Rather than using just one generic address book, you can create different books for different groups of people. For example, you can have one address book that contains all of your friends , while another contains the contact information for all of your coworkers.

  1. Click on File . The File menu will appear.

  2. Click on New . A submenu will appear.

  3. Click on Address Book . The New Address Book dialog box will open , allowing you to create a new address book.

  4. Type a name for your address book. You can give it any name you choose.

  5. Click on OK . The address book will be created. It will appear in the Address Books pane of the window.
