The Roadmap for System Center Products

While the current products that are part of System Center provide an extensive amount of functionality, there is an extensive roadmap of new products to complement the existing management solutions and to empower IT administrators and professionals to better deliver on the promise of better systems management and improved lifecycles for software and systems deployments.

With respect to the operations and systems management products, revisions to these products are planned in 2006 and 2007. Microsoft Operations Manager should see a version 3 product shipped over the next couple of years. In addition, there should be an update to Systems Management Server, marking the fourth release of that product since its inception. These products will continue to deliver on the promise of effective alerts management, software deployment, reporting, and overall management capabilities.
