Chapter 19: Desktop Database Programming

Overview

In this chapter, you'll see how to quickly and easily create a lightweight DVD Catalog application using the TClientDataSet component and Delphi's data-aware components. You'll also learn how to use the TActionManager component along with the TActionMainMenuBar and TActionToolbar components to create a modern-looking user interface, as shown in Figure 19-1.
