This chapter explores these characteristics from the server-side development and explores your options for distributed development from the server-side security with emphasis on the J2EE platform. It starts with a brief overview of Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) and CORBA security and then explores RMI, including the RMISecurityManager and RMIClassLoader .
