Use this procedure if you need to convert a data source you're using in OpenOffice.org to a database in another application. This assumes that the other application can import delimited text files. Basic Exporting
Converting to Writer, RTF, and HTML TablesTo convert a database table to a table in a Writer, HTML, or RTF (Rich Text Format) document, open the document in OpenOffice.org, hold down the Shift key, and drag a table from the Explorer window into a document. If you want more control over which database fields are added to the table, drag the database table into the document without holding down the Shift key. In the Insert Database Columns window, select the fields you want to include. |
