32.6. About the Authors

Dr. Anne Adams is a research fellow at the UCL Interaction Centre, a visiting senior lecturer at Middlesex University, and an external examiner at Bath University. Dr. Adams' research interests vary from security to digital libraries, HCI, and social issues. Research projects have been based in clinical, industrial, and academic settings. She has been both an invited and a keynote speaker for academic, industrial, and health organizations around the world (e.g., Royal Society of Medicine, Google).

M. Angela Sasse is the professor of human-centred technology in the Department of Computer Science at University College London. After obtaining an M.Sc. in occupational psychology (from the University of Sheffield) and a Ph.D. in computer science (from the University of Birmingham), she joined UCL in 1990 to teach and research on design and evaluation of emerging technologies. Since 1997, her research has focused on user-centered approaches to security, privacy, and trust.
