The keyboard shortcuts that Acrobat provides allow you to perform most of your work with comments by using the keyboard.

Press this shortcut to select the Highlighter tool, the Cross-Out Text tool, and the Underline Text tool in that order, starting from the current highlighting tool.

Select the last drawing tool
The last drawing tool used is the one selected in the Drawing drop-down list.
Windows [Shift]-[D], Mac [Shift]-[D]
Cycle through the drawing tools
Press this shortcut to select the Rectangle tool, the Oval tool, the Arrow tool, the Line tool, the Cloud tool, the Polygon tool, and the Polygon Line tool in that order, starting from the current tool.

Select the Text Box tool
Windows [N], Mac [N]
Select the Pencil tool or the Pencil Eraser tool
This shortcut selects whichever of the Pencil tool or the Pencil Eraser tool was last used.

Select the current attach tool

Press this shortcut to revert to the last attach tool used and then cycle through the attach tools (the Attach File tool, the Attach Sound tool, and the Paste Clipboard Image tool, in that order).
