Download Quotes

In order for your investment information to be up-to-date, you'll need to periodically download current security prices to your portfolio. Normally, downloading security prices will be just one of the tasks included when you do a One Step Update (see Chapter 5 for more on One Step Update), but it is also possible to get security price quotes without doing your other online activities.

To download security price quotes on Windows, choose Investing > Online Activities > Download Quotes. The One Step Update window appears, showing you the download progress. Your Portfolio will update to display the latest price quotes.

On the Mac, choose Online > Update Security Prices. The Quicken Quotes Progress window appears reporting the download progress.

The Portfolio window will update to display the latest price quotes.
