You can move around a document in a variety of ways. One way is using the page navigation buttons at the bottom of the Acrobat screen. Another is using your keyboard to go to the next or previous page. You can also set Acrobat to automatically scroll so you don't have to keep clicking to move down a page while you're reading. Find what feels comfortable for you.

1.
Set Scrolling

Under the View menu, select Automatically Scroll . This starts the document automatically scrolling, gradually moving the page up off the screen and bringing the next page in from the bottom of the screen. As the document is scrolling, you can press any number from 0 to 9 to increase or decrease the scrolling speed (lower numbers are slower speeds, with 0 being no scrolling at all). To stop automatic scrolling, select Automatically Scroll from the View menu again to uncheck the action.

2.
Change Scrolling Direction

While using automatic scrolling, you can easily change the direction in which the document is scrolling. Use the minus key on the numeric keypad or the hyphen key to change the direction in which the document is scrolling.

3.
Jump to the Next Page

When automatic scrolling is on and you want to go to the next page, press the right arrow key on your keyboard. To go to the previous page, press the left arrow key.

TIP

To stop scrolling either press the Ctrl+Shift+H (Windows) or +Shift+H (Mac OS) keyboard shortcut or simply press the Esc key on your keyboard.
