46. Organize BookmarksBefore You Begin 42 Create a Bookmark 43 Change a Bookmark's Destination The more bookmarks you have in your document, the more important it is to organize them into a logical and easy-to-use structure. This can be as simple as changing the order in which the bookmarks are listed or as ambitious as creating a hierarchical structure that includes main heading, subheading , and even tertiary bookmarks (although more than two levels of bookmarks is generally not recommended). Bookmarks can be rearranged by simply dragging the bookmark up or down in the bookmark list. The key thing to pay attention to when moving bookmarks is the location of the insertion point in the bookmark list (shown as an arrowhead and dotted line). If the insertion point is below the icon of another bookmark, the bookmark being dragged is placed below the target at the same level in the hierarchy. If the insertion point is below the name of another bookmark, the bookmark being dragged is placed below the target and subordinate to the target in the hierarchy.
