Page transitions are what you see when one slide advances to the next slide. You can choose from a variety of default transitions for the entire presentation, use random transitions, or set specific transitions between pages. If you want the whole presentation to have the same transition, you can set that in Full Screen Preferences or in the Document menu with Set Page Transitions . Try the various transitions and then pick the one that works best with the information and visuals in your presentation.

1.
Choose a Transition

From the Document menu, select the Set Page Transitions command. In the Page Transition section of the Set Transitions dialog box, select one of the 40 available transitions from the Effect drop-down list. Then select a transition speed (slow, medium, or fast) from the Speed drop-down list. If you want your slides to advance automatically, select the Auto Flip option.

2.
Select Page Range

In the Page Range section, specify to which pages/slides you want these transitions applied. You can select from either All Pages in Document or Pages Selected in Pages Panel (available only if you have the Pages panel open ), or you can specify a range of pages.

3.
View the Presentation

Click the OK button to close the Set Transitions dialog box; then select the Full Screen command from either the Window or View menu. View the presentation a couple of times, noting which transitions look right and which ones need to be changed. Then return to the Set Transitions dialog box and make any necessary changes.

TIP

Select a transition that doesn't detract from the primary focus of your presentation, which is the information you are trying to convey . Acrobat provides many stylish transition effects. Select the one that fits the overall tone of your presentation.
