Debugging Applications

 <  Day Day Up  >

Using a realistic client is the best way to debug an application. To help you do this, WebLogic Workshop includes the Test Browser to simulate a real-time application.

To start the Debugger, click the Start button on the toolbar. This opens the Workshop Debugger command window for the debugger proxy, which must remain open while you're debugging the application. The Test Browser is the only client that has access to the application running in debugging mode.

You can pause or stop the Debugger at any time by clicking the Pause or Stop button on the toolbar. Pausing the Debugger means halting at a particular breakpoint. To completely stop the execution of the application, use the Stop option.
