Conclusion

As you have seen, the power of BizTalk Server is truly amazing. The ability of an application to both manage the messaging between servers necessary for proper integration and also provide the toolset need to implement and orchestrate the entire process makes BizTalk Server a must-have application. When the original BizTalk Framework was developed, Microsoft obviously considered its potential power, and they have leveraged it within this server product.

In Chapter 16 we will go over Windows .NET and what it really means. Throughout the course of this book we have touched on, discussed, and used many of the .NET features and we have built applications based on .NET, but we have not pulled all of this information together into a full explanation. Although .NET is not the focus of the book, its usage of XML-based standards warrants additional coverage.
