Security is an extremely broad and often complex topic. This chapter has addressed two of the main components that are part of developing an SOA. There are many different ways to look at application security. Even more importantly, security may change based on the business requirements. It is important that you follow a common guideline when developing and implementing security within your enterprise. It is also important to remember that security is an evolving process that should be continually tested and evaluated. Security is often a key consideration when you are deploying applications. As we move into the final chapter, we will cover how you can deploy the various applications that have been built throughout this book.
