Summary

In this chapter, we've examined the various types of controls you can use for displaying and capturing information. Your choice of controls should be based on matching users' mental model of the data and limiting the data entry to a valid range of values wherever possible.

In the next chapter, we'll look at what you can do when data limitation isn't possible, as we examine when and how to implement data validation.
