Transportation and communications are convenient , with Guangzhou as a hub of water, land and air transport. Air services link Guangzhou with many cities within and outside Guangdong and Guangzhou Baiyun Airport offers international flights . The province has the Beijing-Kowloon and Beijing-Guangzhou railways as its trunk lines. Highways are widely used for transportation. Major ports include Guangzhou Huangpu, Zhanjiang, Shantou and Haikou.
