In this lesson, you'll learn how to configure a Mac OS X computer to run in a managed network. We'll start with an overview of IP addressing basics and then cover advanced IP addressing topics, including IP over FireWire, IPv6, 6 to 4, and advanced Ethernet options. You'll also learn how the DHCP and IP services work in Mac OS X, how launchd and xinetd work to control access to services, and how Mac OS X implements multihoming.
