At this point, your animation should look very similar to the finished movie in this chapter's folder on the book's DVD, although your animation may have different colors and styles and the aperture may look different. Here are a number of suggestions that you can perform to refine this project even further:

• Select the individual Border layers, and animate the Light Angles of the Bevel Alpha effect to give the edges of the animated aperture more visual interest.
  
  
• Change the background text so that the names of the cities animate in alternating directions across the screensome from right to left, and others from left to right.
  
  
• To really jazz up the scrolling text, remove the Position keyframes from the layer, and then apply a text animation preset from the Multi-Line category in the Effects & Presets palette to the layer. You can refine the resulting animation by tweaking the preset's settings in your Timeline. Press UU to reveal all the properties that were modified by the preset.
