Kent Leung is a Cisco Distinguished Engineer at Cisco Systems, where he joined in January 1994. As the original Cisco IOS developer for Mobile IP, he was instrumental to the success in the first commercial deployment of this technology. Kent has been the lead architect for many Mobile IP features in Cisco routers and switches. Numerous innovations were issued patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His contributions to standards development organizations include IETF, 3GPP2, and WiMAX. Kent received his bachelor of science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Davis. He cherishes family time with his wife, Lynn, and children, Amy and Austin. His hobbies include tennis, reading, watching movies, and traveling. |
