Chapter 15. Advanced Interaction with Components

There comes a time when you need to collect information from the client, such as when you need him to adjust certain settings in your game, and you'll need a list of controls to do it. These controls can be designed from scratch or you can use Flash's built-in library of controls called Components. Either way, you should learn how to manage both handwritten and built-in controls in order to effectively manage your movie.
