Highlights of the VS-1824CD

The VS-1824CD had all the same features of the VS-1880, but it included components that were optional on the VS-1880. The VS-1824CD was the first VS workstation to include a built-in highspeed CD-R/RW drive for easy data backup and creation of audio CDs. The built-in CD drive could also import audio, such as drum loops , directly from a CD. The VS-1824CD shipped with a 10GB hard drive and also came with one VS8F-2 effect board factory installed, with the option of installing a second board. The VS-1824CD also shipped with a 10GB hard drive.

Software Upgrades

There were various operating system upgrades available for the VS-1824CD, but no major functionality was ever added to the VS-1824CD.
