Both loop and insert effects may be recorded at the same time as the input signal, if desired. In the case of a loop effect, the effects return may be routed to a recording channel, as shown in Figure 16.4. Figure 16.4. Routing the effects return to a recording track
In the above example, the output of loop effect 2 will be recorded in mono on track 2. In the case of an insert effect, apply the effect in the Track Mixer and route the output of the track to another recording channel. Loop effects may be routed to a linked pair of recording tracks to preserve the stereo image of the effect, or to a single channel for a mono effect. In Figure 16.5, the output of track 1, including any insert effect, will be recorded on track 2. Both track 1 and track 2 must be armed to record. Figure 16.5.
