Making Adjustments, Rendering, and Exporting

Render your project by pressing ENTER to see if everything is working as expected. If not, now's the time to make adjustments and tweaks as needed. For example, you may want to add a Cross Dissolve between the original still image and the "painted" one so that the addition of the matte and the change to a watercolor painting happens gradually instead of all at once. Or, you may want to shorten the duration of the watercolor_FF.bmp clips to 10 seconds or even down to the original 5 seconds. (If you did so, you'd have to trim the kickinback.wav music clip to match.) Once you're ready, save, render, and share your movie.

Finishing the Project

After you have played back your movie and made the necessary adjustments, press the ENTER key on your keyboard to render your project.

Press CTRL-S to save your project (or you can select File, Save from the menu).

Finally, export your work as an AVI file. To export the clip, select File, Export, Movie.

Tip

You can optionally bring this clip into a larger project, show it on your computer, upload it to an Internet video sharing site, or burn it to a DVD, and so on.
