Chapter 11. Layers in Dreamweaver
Inserting a variety of different content into layers is simple. The easiest way is to place a blinking cursor inside the layer. Then choose an object to insert from any one of the tabs in the Insert panel. You can insert anything from an image to a table and from Flash content to a QuickTime movie.
You can also insert content simply by dragging something over from the Assets panel. If you have anything stored on the Clipboard, you also have the option of pasting content into that layer.
