Summary

This chapter focused on basic MPLS provisioning and troubleshooting in a multiservice switching network. Beginning with the generic configuration of an LSR and eLSR, this chapter transitioned to the configuration specifics of the BPX-8600/MGX-8250, IGX-8400, and MGX-8850 implementations of eLSR and LSR bringups. With the configurations in place, the "MPLS Troubleshooting" section explained how to solve problems such as LVC depletion and LVC tracing.
