Web pages can be quite lengthy, and sometimes scanning a page to find what you're looking for can be tedious . Luckily, Firefox can help you find specific text on a web page. It can even highlight the search text as it appears throughout a page, making it easy for you to quickly scroll through a web page and find the exact instance of the search text that you're looking for.

1.	Choose Edit, Find in This Page To begin a search on a web page, choose Edit, Find in This Page from the menu bar or press Ctrl+F . The Find bar appears at the bottom of the browser window. TIP To search the text within a framed area of the page, click within the frame, and then begin your search.
2.	Type Search Text In the Find box, type the word or phrase you want to search for. As you type, the first occurrence of that bit of text is highlighted on the page. NOTE If you want to find an exact match (in uppercase and lowercase letters ) to the search text as you typed it, enable the Match case option.
3.	Click Find Next or Highlight To find the next occurrence of the search text, click the Find Next button in the Find bar at the bottom of the browser window. To find a previous occurrence of the search text, click Find Previous. To highlight all occurrences of the search text, click Highlight , as I've done here. Click Highlight again to turn the highlighting off. When you're through searching, click the X at the left end of the Find bar to hide it again.
