Deleting an Appointment

If you decide that you do not have to go to your doctor's appointment because you are feeling much better, you can delete the appointment. (Outlook isn't smart enough to call your doctor and cancel the appointment, so you'll have to do that yourself.) You can delete an appointment in one of several ways:

• Double-click the item's move handle to open its Appointment window. Click the Delete button on the Appointment's toolbar.

• From the Daily view, single-click the item, and then click the Delete button on the Calendar's Standard toolbar.

• From the Daily view, single-click the item, and then press the Delete key on the keyboard.

• From the Daily view, right-click the item and choose Delete.
