Chapter 15. Game Logic

To this point, you've learned about the basic structure of the BetterMUD, the entities, accessor classes, databases, actions, and the extensible scripting modules.

All these components must be managed by something, however, and this chapter shows you how to do that.

In this chapter, you will learn to:

  • Use the game module to control the physical aspects of the game

  • Use action events to tell the game module what is happening

  • Understand how the timer system works

  • Understand how the physical transaction system works
