  1. Without looking back at the text, try to think of at leave five advantages video presentations have over PowerPoint files.

  2. Take a look at the sample PowerPoint presentation in this chapter’s media folder on the companion CD. There are several animations. Using the techniques described in this chapter, make a smooth, correctly paced capture of these animations with Camtasia Recorder’s time-lapse capture.

  3. Capture part of a PowerPoint presentation (either the sample file or one of your own), utilizing one of the two techniques mentioned in this chapter for reducing the dimensions of your video presentation. Now try the other technique. Which do you prefer?

  4. In the sample PowerPoint presentation on the companion CD, there’s a “Play” symbol graphic on the final slide. Copy both the presentation and an included sample video from the same folder to your hard drive. Following the instructions in this chapter, set up your presentation to link to that video using Camtasia Player.

  5. In your professional career, chances are you’ve had to give a PowerPoint presentation at some point. Would it be useful to preserve it as a video? If you’ve given a presentation recently, try archiving it as a video using the Camtasia Studio Add-in for PowerPoint.
