Set up and execute a time-lapse capture, using the settings to make a video that plays three times slower than usual. Preview the results. Remember to turn off time-lapse recording when finished.
Save an audio preset called “Master Quality” in PCM format with attributes of 44.1 kHz, 16-bit, Mono.
On the Hotkeys tab of the Tools Options dialog, a number of commands do not yet have hotkeys assigned. Assign a hotkey to each command, and test out your established hotkeys while recording.
On the Capture tab of the Tools Options dialog, uncheck Disable display acceleration during capture. Try making a test recording. Does it play back as smoothly as before? Try disabling display acceleration globally using the instructions in this chapter. Unless you regularly play games or use CAD applications, you may want to leave it off all the time.
