Now you re ready to play with the power of Web Services. Google provides a truly free Web Service. You can get information about this Web Service at http://www.google.com/apis. From this site, download the Developers API archive and unzip it. It s packed with information about Google s free Web Services. You ll need to create an account with Google by providing an e-mail address (this information is provided in the instructions). The required license key is mailed to you. You re permitted to execute 1,000 queries per day per e-mail address (for free). We recommend that you create a new stub using the WSDL in the zip archive. It s fun to play with this Web Service. You ll need to edit the generated Java code to add the license key, query, and other information. All of the parameters are documented in an HTML file that is included in the documentation.
