Working from your home office may give you the things you have been longing for ”more time with your family, work that you're passionate about, and the freedom to be your own boss. As in life, before making any decision it's wise to consider the pros and cons. Jumping blindly into a situation you are not prepared for will almost certainly lead to problems and disappointment. If working from home is something you would like to do, then don't let the challenges scare you. Come on, there are challenges around every corner ”that's what life is all about. There are challenges in the corporate world ”commuting, office politics, deadlines, and pink slips. There are challenges in relationships, parenthood, being a homeowner ”you name it. Heck, there are challenges just trying to get through the supermarket . Now ask yourself this question: Wouldn't you rather reach for a dream then never have tried at all?
