Chapter 11: Reviewing and Sharing a Presentation

Overview

In this chapter you will learn to:

  • Add comments to a presentation.

  • Protect a presentation with a password.

  • Send a presentation for review.

  • Merge versions and handle reviewers changes.

After you create a draft of a presentation, you might want to distribute it to your co-workers for feedback. Collaborating with others can help you produce accurate and thorough presentations.

Before you send a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 presentation out for review, you might want to protect it with a password that will allow only specified people to open the document. You can send a presentation to reviewers electronically so that they can read, revise , and comment on the presentation without having to print it. When reviewers return the edited presentation to you, you can merge the different versions into the original, evaluate all the revisions and comments, and accept or reject the edits.

In this chapter, you ll insert comments into a presentation, assign a password to protect the presentation, send a presentation for review through e-mail, and then merge presentations received back from reviewers. You ll also accept and reject changes as appropriate.
