Chapter 4: Working with Slide Text

Page 60	To create a text label On the Drawing toolbar, click the Text Box button, and position the pointer where you want to place the text label. Click the slide.
Page 60	To create a word processing box On the Drawing toolbar, click the Text Box button. Position the upside-down T-pointer where you want the word processing box to appear, and then drag the pointer to create a box that is roughly the size you want. Release the mouse button.
Page 60	To copy a text object Hold down the [Ctrl] key, and then drag the selection box of the text object to a new location on the slide.
Page 60	To adjust a text object to fit the size of the text On the Format menu, click Placeholder . Click the Text Box tab to display text spacing and alignment options. Select the Resize AutoShape to fit text check box, and then click OK .
Page 64	To change paragraph spacing On the Formatting toolbar, click the Increase Paragraph Spacing button or the Decrease Paragraph Spacing button.
Page 74	To mark a word as a foreign language word Select the word. On the Tools menu, click Language . Scroll down the list, click the language you want to mark the phrase as, and click OK .
Page 74	To spell check a whole document On the Standard toolbar, click the Spelling button.
Page 74	To check the style of a document On the Tools menu, click Options . Click the Spelling and Style tab to display a list of options. Select the Check style check box, and then click Style Options . Select the options that you want and click OK .
Page 79	To change the text case Select the text that you want to change. On the Format menu, click Change Case . Click the change case option that you want to apply to the selected text. Click OK to apply the change option to the presentation.
