Click Start and then click E-mail (Outlook Express) .

If prompted, connect to your Internet service provider.

INTRODUCTION

Before you can use Outlook Express, you need to set up your Internet connection and e-mail account information. Once you have set up a mail account, you can use Outlook Express to create, send, and receive e-mail over the Internet.

TIP

Not Set Up?

To set up your Internet connection, use the Internet Connection Wizard. Follow the onscreen instructions, entering the appropriate user name , password, and mail information from your Internet service provider (ISP).

TIP

Exit and Disconnect

To exit Outlook Express, click the Close button for the program window. If you are prompted to log off, select Yes or Disconnect . If you are not prompted, right-click the connection icon in the taskbar and select Disconnect .
