It has been a long chapter, and a useful one. First you learned about the selection tools (Marquees, Lassos, the Magic Wand, and Selection Brush), and how to use them not only to select an object, but as drawing and mask making tools as well. Then, you learned about the importance of layers and how to create, delete, copy, link, and group layers as needed. You also learned how to adjust a layer's opacity, and how to use a fill layer to control the color of an object in another layer. We then moved on to cropping, resizing, and rotating your images. You also learned to straighten horizons, roofs, poles, or anything that should be horizontal or vertical and isn't. You learned about the Skew feature. Finally, we covered Elements' type capabilities. |
