You have completed the exercise Changing the User Interface. Here is what you did:

  • You used CODE Designer to access a DDS source member.

  • You used Web settings in CODE Designer to change the Web user interface.

  • You used the following Web settings: create hyperlink, visibility, appearance, and text.

  • You reconverted the changed DDS.

Note that your green-screen user interface has not changed. If you invoke the application in its green-screen format, it will look like the original user interface. The Web settings affect only the WebFaced user interface.

You are ready to move on. You have improved the look of your application, but there are more improvements you need to make. In the next exercise I will show you how to improve the style of your Web application. Proceed to the exercise Changing the Style of the Web Interface.
