Installing SQL Server and Sample Data

As with Chapter 24, the examples in this chapter depend on your having a version of SQL Server available containing the Northwind sample database. The SQL Express or MSDE engines are okay for this chapter's examples, but the Northwind data must be loaded. Carefully follow the steps listed in the section "Install SQL Server and the Northwind Sample Data" at the beginning of Chapter 24 to ensure that both SQL Server and the sample Northwind database are installed before you begin.
