Simplicity

Over the years we have worked with many programmers with many different programming styles ”the "fearful," who are afraid to ask questions and came up with crazy solutions; the "geniuses," who prove their ingenuity in their work; and that rare breed, the "simplicity seekers."

While everyone thinks we should feel privileged to be managing the geniuses, the ones we find the best by far are the simplicity seekers because they develop code that is simple and easy to figure out and thus elegant. They are geniuses in their own right for being able to keep a project from turning into an impossible mass of code.
