"She's dried up!"
Those were the very words of Dr. Peter Blurgells, our Chezlee and environs veterinary Mother Theresa to the beasts. We'd called him after hours of yanking at those withered teats had produced not so much as a drop of Maude's bovine nectar. It was not long after she dried up, that she quietly passed on (as I mentioned in the Memoriam p.*). Sad that she no longer could provide for us, she just gave up.
Sorry, I got a bit overcome there; I was fond of the old cow. Just give me a minute and I'll recommence.
Continuing on, just like Maude's udder
MUSIC (kinda) DRIED UP
Composers of music were heard in their locals as they downed some absinthe or trinkletrocken or Stoney Ripples moaning statements like:
a) "Why bother trying? It's all been done before!"  Ennui de Bordom (Fr.)
2. "I've written the theme from the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony twice now. I didn't notice it till my cleaning lady pointed it out."  an honest composer.
iii) "We all have to do a little borrowing now and then" squirmed _________, at his lawyers' office, up on another plagiarism charge.
* Look it up yourself!
