Summary

This chapter introduced you to the Visual Studio IDEespecially the Server Explorer, which plays a vital role in how you, the developer, manage and interact with SQL Server objects. I showed you how to enumerate the contents of a SQL Server database (or any connected data source), as well as how to create new databases, tables, views, and other objects. The next chapter discusses how to use this same interface to work with stored procedures.
