How to Use This Book

You can use this book in a couple of ways:

• If you want to know everything there is to know about web design, read this book from cover to cover. You’ll learn how to create digital images for the web, how to navigate through the complexities of Adobe Photoshop, what web editors (such as Macromedia Dreamweaver) are, and why you need them. Reading the entire book will start you from square one, and take you all the way to getting your web pages onto the World Wide Web.

• If you want to find out about a specific topic, flip to that section and start reading. For example, if you’re already familiar with Adobe Photoshop and digital image issues, you might flip to Part II of this book and start working your way through some of the examples. Feel free to read any section in this book without reading what comes before or after.
