Too Many Fonts

Many programs, including Word, don’t seem to like it when you have too many fonts installed. I personally recommend less than 500 fonts.

If you have many fonts, place the non-standard ones in another folder called MoreFonts. Then, if you decide you need one, install it via the Control Panel in Windows and by double-clicking on Fonts. Then use the File Install New Font menu.

Note 

You cannot install fonts through any of Word’s menus.
