Additional Resources

 <  Day Day Up  >

SharePoint developers have many places to find additional information and help. The richest source is not surprisingly found at microsoft.com. The SharePoint site (www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/) contains technical information, evaluation tools, links to training, and other material. Within the MSDN site, go to msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/spptsdk/html/SPSDKWelcome.asp for SharePoint information. Microsoft hosts a community devoted to SharePoint at communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=SharePoint. It contains up-to-date information from your peers and Microsoft staff to help you get the most from SharePoint.

For an independent perspective, check out www.spsfaq.com. This site is a rich source of news and links, and it even monitors Microsoft's web site for new downloads and articles on SharePoint. The New England SharePoint User Group hosts its web site at www.starit.com/sughome.htm. Finally, MSD2D.com has a section devoted to SharePoint at msd2d.com/Product_view.aspx?section=Sharepoint.
