1. Interview five software developers about their experience with program comprehension. Identify their difficulties. Ask them about their active attempts to improve the comprehension of the code they write. If they do not dedicate any attention to it, ask them why. Ask their opinion about what can be done to improve program comprehension.

2. Suppose you are asked to prepare a presentation about refactoring. You have access to all the available resources about refactoring. Prepare the skeleton of such a talk. Answer the following questions:

   • What is your main message?

   • What subtopics do you address? Examine these subtopics. What aspects of refactoring does each emphasize ?
