The Windows Server 2003 distribution CD is bootable. This means you can boot right off the CD. You no longer need to mess with half a dozen startup boot floppies. To get your system to boot from the CD, check out your CMOS for the boot device setting.
If your system doesn't support bootable CDs, it's really out of date. But if you can't afford anything newer , there's a workaround. Microsoft offers a startup boot floppy builder tool that you can download from its Web site. Just go to the Windows Server 2003 area of the Microsoft Web site at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/ and search for setup disks for floppy boot install.
