Appendix D: MText Keystrokes

These Keys:	Do This:
Position
	Move the cursor through the text one space at a time
Ctrl + Ctrl +	Move the cursor through the text one word at a time
Home	Move the cursor to the beginning of the line
End	Move the cursor to the end of the line
Page Up Page Down	Move the cursor through the document up to 28 lines at a time
Ctrl + Home	Move the cursor to the beginning of the document
Ctrl + End	Move the cursor to the end of the document
Ctrl + Page Up Ctrl + Page Down	Move the cursor to the top or bottom of the screen
Selection
Ctrl + A	Selects all the text in the mtext object
Shift + Shift +	Selects / deselects text one character at a time
Shift + Shift +	Selects / deselects text one line at a time
Ctrl + Shift + Ctrl + Shift +	Selects / deselects text one word at a time
Action
Delete	Deletes the character to the right of the cursor
Backspace	Deletes the character to the left of the cursor
Ctrl + Backspace	Deletes the word to the left of the cursor
Esc	Leaves the text editor without saving the changes
Ctrl + C	Copy the selected text to the Windows clipboard
Ctrl + V	Paste text from the Windows clipboard into the text editor
Ctrl + X	Remove the selected text and place it on the Windows clipboard
Ctrl + Z	Undo the last edit
Enter	Starts a new paragraph
