C++Builder System Requirements

Several segments of the Borland C++Builder 6 Developer's Guide are intended for users of C++Builder 6 Professional and Enterprise; nevertheless, the majority of text and example code is applicable to previous versions of C++Builder. We anticipate the material provided in the book and on the companion CD-ROM will be applicable to future versions of C++Builder as well.

However, the project files found on the CD-ROM strictly adhere to the C++Builder version 6 format. This format is incompatible with previous versions of C++Builder. Therefore, it will be necessary for users of older versions of C++Builder to create new projects consisting of the code and forms provided on the companion CD-ROM.

NOTE

Despite our best efforts, it is inevitable that there will be the occasional error in the text and accompanying program code. In light of this, a list of errata will be provided on the Sam Publishing Web site at http://www.samspublishing.com.
