˜In my job as general practitioner at a hospital I face daily thick medical diaries , which take a long time to read through in order to get a proper view of a patient s medical status, a doctor says.
˜Medical diaries are added to continuously over the years with papers in A4 format, which are being filed in numerical order along with results from examinations, X-ray plates, notes of admission, ECG results, letters , etc.
˜This means it is normally very difficult to get an overview of patients with a long history of various illnesses and visits to clinics.
˜I use mind maps instead of a traditional diary. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to make one but I gain those minutes every time I have to revise a patient s records when a person comes to visit me.
